Books and Authors: Author Aimie Runyan Shares Her Writing Process and Journey (In-Person)

As part of our month-long "PEN-demonium!" series to promote and celebrate writing in the Estes Valley, we’re thrilled to bring you international bestselling author–and Estes Park local!–Aimie K. Runyan, who will discuss her writing process and journey, and answer your questions. Aimie has published six works of historical fiction–her latest novel is The School for German Brides, set in a Nazi “bride school” during World War II–and is excited to be moving into contemporary fiction with her upcoming novel, The Memory of Lavendar and Sage. While this program is designed to benefit writers and aspiring writers, all are welcome to join!
We’ll leave plenty of time for Q&A, and you may submit questions in advance of the talk here.
About Aimie K. Runyan
Aimie writes fiction, both historical and contemporary, that celebrates the spirit of strong women. You can learn more about her books here, and also find them in the Library’s catalog. Amie has worked on six traditionally published novels with three major publishers (Kensington, Lake Union, and two imprints of HarperCollins), and has six more projects contracted with HarperCollins over the next few years. In addition to her writing, Aimie is active as a speaker and educator in the writing community. She lives in Colorado with her amazing husband, kids, cats, and pet dragon.
